0810’08 Austria (Close to Zell am See)

So we had our first day of driving together and all I can say is what a perfect start.

After making a quick stop at post-office this morning to send some personal stuff home we managed to finally leave dear old München. Not without a proper farewell [...]

Arrived in Istanbul last night. (In the dark again) What an absolutely phenominal city. Driving into the city I was overwhelmed by it all. Traffic is ridiculous, especially in peak hour. The drive on the “Desert Highway” from Petra to Aqaba where we caught the ferry to Egypt was awesome and a pleasure to drive. Going through passport-control and getting tickets for us and the bikes, basically going through the process of leaving Jordan, was stressful and frustrating. The guys there were most incompetent to put [...]

Originally we didn’t really plan to spent much time in Nuweiba. We changed our minds quickly though, after we arrived at Yasser’s place . It was simply too special a place not to stay for a few days. As a whole, Jordan was tiring and we convinced ourselves that we deserved the break. The last [...]
